Exciting news! The latest trailer for Marvel’s, The Avengers was officially released today! The trailer is packed with never-before-seen footage from the upcoming film. Directed by Joss Whedon, The Avengers comes to theaters May 4th, 2012 and stars Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr., Cobie Smulders, Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson.
The official Facebook Page of Marvel Studios’ upcoming superhero ensemble film was updated this morning with an announcement of when fans of the highly anticipated project will see new footage: Only 3 days left until the premiere of the new “Marvel’s The Avengers” trailer on iTunes!
Yes you’ve read that correctly … a new trailer for The Avengers is coming soon! Breathe people, breathe!

Marvel has released a new still from The Avengers that includes a rare sighting of none other than S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Coulson.
More specifically, the image features Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) watching a monitor on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. Agent Coulson has a quirky grin on his face, yet Thor looks deadly serious about whatever, or whoever, they’re fixated on.
The Avengers stars Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Clark Gregg and Tom Hiddleson. The unprecedented superhero big screen teamup from director Joss Whedon arrives in theaters in 3D and 2D on May 4.
A new still from the upcoming film, The Cabin in the Woods was just released! The still doesn’t reveal any new spoilers or plot details, but it is still worth checking out! The Cabin in the Woods hits North American theatres on April 13th, 2012.

Chris O’Dowd doesn’t think he has a ‘hope in hell’ of winning the BAFTA Orange Rising Star Award. The “Bridesmaids” actor is up against Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Adam Deacon and Eddie Redmayne for the in the category that is voted for by the public, but he does not believe he is likely to win the prize at the BAFTAs on Sunday, February 12th. He exclusively told BANG Showbiz:
“I’m pretty sure I don’t have a hope in hell, but I’m still going to wear a suit because I just like the way it makes my butt look. I think Adam Deacon is going to walk it. I think he’s going to win. He’s like a self-promotional animal. I think it’s a good line-up you know.”
Chris has been announced as a confirmed guest of the Orange British Academy Film Awards. Chris was nominated for “Orange Wednesdays Rising Star” for his work in Thor. Below is the official press release:
London, 7 February 2012: The Orange British Academy Film Awards will take place on Sunday 12 February at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London.
Hosted by Stephen Fry, the ceremony will be broadcast on BBC One at 9.00pm that evening. For the fifth year, a special red carpet show will be broadcast on BBC Three at 7.30pm, hosted by Edith Bowman.
Nominees confirmed to date include (in alphabetical order): Adam Deacon, Bérénice Bejo, Brad Pitt, Chris Hemsworth, Eddie Redmayne, Gary Oldman, George Clooney, Jean Dujardin, Jessica Chastain, Jim Broadbent, Jonah Hill, Dame Judi Dench, Kenneth Branagh, Kristen Wiig, Lynne Ramsay, Meryl Streep, Michael Fassbender, Michel Hazanavicius, Michelle Williams, Octavia Spencer, Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swindon, Tom Hiddleston, Tomas Alfredson and Viola Davis.
Martin Scorsese, recipient of the BAFTA Fellowship, and John Hurt, recipient of the Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award, will also be in attendance.
