With X-Men: Days of Future Past now in theatres, Hugh Jackman has been making the press rounds, where he revealed that he would love to see his Wolverine character team up with Marvel Studios’ Avengers. Take a look at what the actor had to say during a recent interview with IGN.

“I would love to see him as part of The Avengers. Because there’s a great dysfunction among that team, and I think Wolverine would fit right into that. He’d like that. There’s no doubt he’d get in a fight with Hulk at some point. Those two bad, rage-filled characters are going to square off at some point. It would be quite fun. I don’t know how much fun to shoot it would be because I’m sure I’d be on the worst end of it, but hey, he can heal.”

Avengers: Age of Ultron comes to theaters May 1st, 2015 and stars Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Mark Ruffalo. The film is directed by Joss Whedon. (Source)

As is customary for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s been revealed that U.K. fans will get to see Joss Whedon’s eagerly-anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron a week earlier than fans across the Pond, with Marvel announcing that the sequel will open in the U.K. and Ireland on April 24th 2015 (as opposed to its U.S. date of May 1st).

Meanwhile, with filming on Age of Ultron currently taking place in the U.K., director Joss Whedon has offered up a few words about shooting in the country, telling Empire that:

“The number of different looks and textures and moods we’re getting from the British locations is stupid awesome. Because this, palette-wise, is very different. I’m trying to make a different film. Because why would you make one movie twice? That seems weird.”

Whedon also spoke about the roster expansion for The Avengers sequel, as well as the new villain, stating: “I fiercely dislike the idea of just throwing in more people for the sake of doing that, but last time I had all of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes versus one British character actor, and I needed more conflict… I’m having a blast with Ultron. He’s not a creature of logic – he’s a robot who’s genuinely disturbed. We’re finding out what makes him menacing and at the same time endearing and funny and strange and unexpected, and everything a robot never is.”

Avengers: Age of Ultron sees Marvel veterans Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (The Incredible Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Paul Bettany (JARVIS / The Vision) joined in the cast by new additions Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass 2) as Quicksilver, Elizabeth Olsen (Oldboy) as the Scarlet Witch, James Spader (The Blacklist) as Ultron and Thomas Kretschmann (Dracula) as Baron Strucker. Many of this year’s Oscar nominated films were adapted from books, including The Wolf of Wall Street, Captain Phillips, and 12 Years a Slave – but times are changing. Jimmy Kimmel and his team have developed a plan to escort the movie business into the 21st century by enlisting the help of some of the greatest talents in the world of film to help us adapt popular YouTube videos into big-budget Hollywood movies. Here’s an adaptation of the YouTube classic “Charlie Bit My Finger” starring Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth. #BitmanBegins

"Chris Hemsworth is like Christopher Reeve in that he can do two things: he can wear a big red cape without a shred of self-consciousness. But he's also funny as hell, and he's so sweet. So with all the fish-out-of-water stuff, he's so funny. So he does almost two jobs in a way."
